CarScene – Website & Portal Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the CarScene websites, including carscene.au and portal.carscene.au (the "Web Platform").
By accessing or using the Web Platform, you agree to these Terms.
The CarScene Web Platform provides:
CarScene provides digital infrastructure only and does not organise events or verify vehicles, venues, or participants.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Web Platform and capable of entering a legally binding agreement.

The only personal identifier displayed publicly is the display name of the content owner.
You retain ownership of content you submit.
By submitting content, you grant CarScene a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute content for Platform operation and promotion.
You must not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, or harmful content.
CarScene has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report any post, comment, vehicle, event or organisation page, and block other users. We review every report and may remove content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who break these Terms.
Pages on CarScene represent real clubs, venues, businesses and event organisers. Only create or claim a page for an organisation you run, or that its owner has authorised you to act for.
We check every claim and may contact the owner before approving it. A new page may be reviewed before it is listed, a page whose name could be mistaken for another may be held until we have reviewed it, and a new page's content may not appear on +Scene for an initial period.
We may suspend or restrict an account that appears to breach these Terms while we review it. We will tell you why by email, and you can reply to ask us to look again. Your data is kept while the account is suspended.
An account that appears linked to a suspended account may be restricted until we have reviewed it.
Club owners and event organisers are solely responsible for:

CarScene does not verify:

The Web Platform uses cloud hosting, analytics, mapping services, and third-party integrations to function. Use of the Web Platform constitutes acceptance of these technologies as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
