An evening of open lapping at Luddenham Raceway on Wednesday 28 October, run by Trackschool. Sign in and scrutineering open at 4pm, the briefing is at 4:45pm and the track goes live at 5pm, with sessions of 10 to 15 minutes running back to back until 8pm. The night is capped at 30 cars, so it suits first timers as much as it does performance and race cars. It costs $199 per driver booked in advance through Trackschool's website, $60 for a second driver sharing the same car and sessions, and $25 for a passenger or spectator. Drivers need to be 17 or older on at least red P plates. No motorsport licence is needed. Bring a motorsport approved helmet (hire is $20), long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes, and a roadworthy car with no leaks and nothing loose inside. Everyone entering the park must be 16 or older because the pits are live. No fuel is sold on site, and drifting, burnouts and dangerous driving mean a lifetime ban. Hosted by Trackschool at Luddenham Raceway.
