Taggerty Community Progress Group runs its third Classic Show and Shine on the old primary school oval on Taggerty Thornton Road, Saturday 31 October 2026 from 8am to 1.30pm. It is a laid back country show and all vehicles are welcome: cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors. Show vehicles pay $10 to enter and the public get in for a gold coin donation. There are trophies, a people's choice award, raffles and the All Seasons Market on the same day. The local CFA brigades are using the day as a recruitment drive, so drop by their stand if you live in the district. Hosted by Taggerty Community Progress Group.
