Northern Gal: Willy Laps (November)

Northern Gal's Willy Laps runs on the last Saturday of the month, a rolling cruise from Melbourne's north down to Williamstown to lap Nelson Place as the sun goes down. November's is Saturday 28 November. Meet at Amart Campbellfield, 1473 Sydney Road, from 4pm. The convoy leaves at 4:30pm sharp, after five horn blasts, and runs out along the Western Ring Road with no tolls. It swings through the Sunshine McDonald's at about 4:50pm to pick up anyone from that side of town, then goes on via Williamstown Road, North Road and The Strand to reach Nelson Place around 5:10pm. If you live closer, go straight to Williamstown. Laps run from 5pm onwards: cruise, park up, grab something to eat, then cruise again. Classics, hot rods, customs, JDM, rat rods, tough street cars, supercars and bikes are all welcome, and daily drivers are fine too. Bring a passenger to take the rolling shots.
