Description

Classic Japan is an annual show for Japanese cars and bikes at least 25 years old, from any Japanese maker. It started in 2011 and now draws more than 500 cars and bikes, which the organisers call one of the largest gatherings of nostalgic Japanese classics in the Southern Hemisphere. The vehicles are parked through the gardens of Cruden Farm, around the lakes and the homestead. There is no judging and there are no trophies. Vendors, food trucks and merchandise will be on site, and guided farm tours can be booked in advance. It runs on Sunday 29 November from 9am to 2pm at Cruden Farm in Langwarrin. Entrants come in via McLelland Drive. Vehicle entry is $25 and motorcycles $15, with 25 per cent off for Toyota Car Club members. Spectators pay $5. To display a vehicle you must enter online beforehand through the club's website. There are no entries at the gate, and your confirmation email is your ticket. The day is family friendly and free of smoke, drugs and alcohol, with no pets. It supports the Road Safety Education RYDA program and is sponsored by Shannons Insurance. Toyota Car Club of Australia Victoria runs this event, not CarScene. CarScene lists it so you can find it. For tickets, entries and any questions, contact Toyota Car Club of Australia Victoria directly through their Facebook page or their website.
